Hi, in order to setup your Versa, you need to do the following:

1. Put your Versa in the charger and connect it to your PC. Also make sure that your Versa's BT settings are set to on.

2. Go to your device and start the Fitbit app (assuming you have a Fitbit account and are logged in).

3. Press add device and Fitbit will start searching for your device

4. Once found, you will see in your Versa's display a four digit number.

5. Enter the four digits in the Fitbit app and the setup will start.

6. Advice from my side: skip the setting up wifi connection, cause that's taking too long and will give errors. You can always do that later once your Versa has been set up properly.

7. Follow all the steps and at the end Fitbit will tell you that you're finished setting it up.

8. When you start your first sync with your Versa, it will ask you several things, like allowing to use your location (yes), make a connection with the Versa (yes) and the like. Now you're ready to be up and running! Good luck. If you need any help with setting up the WiFi connection, please let me know and I will be glad to guide you through the process.

I have the versa 2 and have a similar problem. I’m setting it up for the first time. I get to the screen where it says the device is found but then it never connects. It’ll show the scrolling circle and say “connecting to device” for an hour or longer if I’d let it. I give up.
