Got my Versa for Christmas. Tried to set it up and it froze while doing the update. Tried everything I’ve read about troubleshooting. Even called customer service. But I can not do a reset on my Versa. Also tried to set my son’s up and his won’t connect to Bluetooth.
I’m very disappointed with the Versa.

In order to get the update, your Versa has to be connected to WiFi. See this:
Versa will only connect to WiFi when it's in the charger and connected to a PC, As the Versa does not have WiFi on its own, it uses the WiFi of your Phone or PC as a bridge. Whenever you have done this, go to your device's Fitbit app and to WiFi settings. Do you see your Network now? If yes, press on it and enter manually the password of your router, mind you it's Capital sensitive. Once you have done that, there should appear on the right side of your network's name a white icon. Press that and Fitbit starts connecting to your network. Whenever this succeeded, the white icon will turn to blue and it will say "connected". At this time your Versa is also connected to WiFi, but only, as stated above, as long as it's in the charger and connected to your PC. If no network is present, press add network, enter the name of your router and password manually (again Capital sensitive) and it will be added as your network. For the rest it's the same as if your network was already present, e.g. white icon, etc.
Once you have done the above steps, you can start the update and it will be updated via WiFi, which is far more faster than BT. Mine took 10 minutes.

Hi, when you tried to do the update, do you had the Versa in the charger and connected to your PC?

It was on the charger. I tried to set mine up through my phone. My son’s through my computer.
Mine is stuck in the update and won’t reset to manufacture setting.

Mine also won't go past the startup scroll screen in different languages. Setup does NOT work as it hangs and gets and error message that bluetooth isn't working AFTER it's said it's connected and computer shows it is.
HATE THIS WATCH!!!!!!!!!

Mine won't even connect to the fitbit app when I try setting up the device because the app glitches and it deleted my entire account and my device which I wasn't able to recover. I had to buy a new one before this had deleted my account and my versa because it went completely black wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on and this one (the new one that I got) deleted my account and my versa I made a new account and it won't connect to the app. These fitbits are annoyingly glitchy.
