Not sure if it's the same, but my blaze quit syncing yesterday too.  app went wonky.  The tracker still works fine, but it won't sync with any computer or phone.

I only bring it up because I'm seeing a lot of these posts crop up.  Support claims there's no issue and I should just replace my now out of warranty blaze, but it seems to work fine and the error I get is HTTP related.

 I call shenanigans.

Hi, see this article about syncing problems. On this site press "Trackers and watches" and it will show you lots of details. In your case choose iPhones and read it carefully. Good luck.

I was having the same issue the other day. Disconnecting from wifi and syncing over data worked for me.

I am having similar problem, debugged for a few hours, Googled many Fitbit community posts, but not helping.

Symptom:

1. Versa and Aria scale can't sync over the wifi network through iPhone 6s and/or iPhone 7 since 1/12 Saturday (after about noon).

2. Tried removing the Versa from Fitbit app, removing the Fitbit app on the phone, restarting the phones, rebooting Versa, reinstalling the Fitbit app, readding the Versa on Fitbit app, when entered the number to sync over bluetooth, it says "com.fitbit.HTTP error 403".

3. HOWEVER, if I sync over cellular network (not through my wifi network), the sync was successful. This is only to Versa, I haven't tried Aria.

But since Aria is connected through wifi network, I don't know how to bypass my wifi network to sync.

Question is: Is it my wifi setting issue? Why is "com.fitbit.HTTP error 403" prohibiting device sync to Fitbit server through Fitbit app through wifi network, but it is OK through cellular network? What should I do to my router (Asus RT-AC68U)?

Software versions:

iOS 12.1.2

Fitbit app 2.85

Devices:

iPhone 6s, iPhone 7

Fitbit Versa, Aria scale

Thanks,

Chinpei

Cannot get my versa to sync to my galaxy note 8. Its been a while. I called support 2 weeks ago and was told there was a problem with the android/Fitbit connection, my friend however is having no issues.

Try resetting your Versa, you  have to hold the on button and the bottom button at the same time and wait for the fitbit logo to appear, make sure your phone is with you and on WiFi,it works for me.

I've been having the same issue since 01/11/2019. 🙄 I tried restarting my versa, shutting it down, updating the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app; I've just about had it! I am not getting the rewards I crave on the app for being active! 😤 I've only had this Versa since November.

I have a Moto Z3 Android.

If it's still not fixed, try shutting the phone off to end any phone and watch requests. Sometimes just uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work. The phone still has request data hanging. Reset the Versa, by holding down the left and right bottom buttons for 15 seconds. I find that resetting the units clear up most hang ups. When it's back on, turn on the phone. Hopefully, they will shake hands and be nice. Hope this helps. Smiley Happy

Both my Versa and Aria resumed connection through my wifi on 1/17/2019 without any explanation. I did try to connect my Versa through the wifi network between 1/12 and 1/17, still didn't work, but worked through my cellular network. Same to Aria, it just said NO SYNC between 1/12 and 1/17. It is good that my weights between the days when the connection didn't work were all updated to the server. With this, I think it is something to do with my home network with Fitbit server, or Fitbit server blocked my network access, and it just resumed.

I read somewhere that Fitbit is using Cloudflare as their server security, so it is possible that Cloudflare blocked my access accidentally. I don't know what can be done if this is the case.

Good luck to those who are still trying to connect!
