Hi, I entered my pin wrong ONCE so my Versa locked itself and said unlock with phone (in middle of a run, of course) and my phone showed no prompts to unlock. I tried removing my pin, removing all of my cards, restarting my phone, the fitbit, and my bluetooth on and off a handful of times, to no avail. My fitbit stopped syncing as soon as it locked and I'm not able to make any changes. I unpaired it from my phone and now it won't pair back up.

Best AnswerSo I called support and he walked me through this process. I have a Google Pixel 2 and a Fitbit Versa so your steps may vary if you don't have the same setup as I do. He had me turn off the bluetooth on my phone, restart my phone, restart my fitbit, turn on bluetooth, go into the fitbit app and add/pair a new device, it worked, I then went to pin in the fitbit app and the unlock from phone prompt finally came up, I put it in and unlocked it, then went into pin on the app, disabled the pin, hit the sync button in the app, and magically my fitbit was unlocked. Hope this helps somebody in the future, it truly was a confusing and nonsensical way to unlock a fitbit and re-pair with my phone after it stopped recognizing it, but tis life sometimes I guess. I recommend not using a pin unless you absolutely have to because there are way too many support tickets about Fitbit Versas behaving wildly after locking their users out.
Best AnswerHey Pat, do you mean unpair it from my phone? I've already done that, and now I can't re-pair it with my phone. I will try rebooting my phone and attempting to re-pair it when I get home today. Thank's for the help.
Best AnswerI mean delete it from your account in the app. Then choose "add new device" and add it back.

Best AnswerThanks so much Pat, you were on the right track. I talked with support and they had me do a very roundabout way that worked that I've typed out and accepted as the solution on this question. Thank you again for your time and effort.
This didn't work for me. After trying to pair the versa, the app prompts me to enter the 4 digit pairing code displayed on the watch, but I keep seeing the please unlock with app message instead.
This is also happening to me with the versa. I've tried to set up new device but it says insert the pin showing on the watch but the watch only displays Unlock with Phone. I've been trying this for 4 days, it's so frustrating. I'll never buy a Fitbit again.
