I would try restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

You might also try forgetting the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more ideas to try in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/

Hey @Rozz, welcome to the Forums and @SteveH thanks for stopping by.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this and would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? Are you still having syncing problems?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Thanks for the update @Rozz.

Can you please tell me which phone you have? In the meantime, check that it is in our list of compatible mobile devices.

Keep me posted. Robot Happy

Hello I have a Galley s7 edge. But I think I figured out the problem, when
my husband's computer is on I noticed that I have more trouble syncing, he
has his Fitbit setup on that so I think my versa is getting confused. Do
you think that could be the problem?
Thank you,
Rozz

I am in the same situation, I have followed all the instructions suggested by members of this community. I upgraded my Alta, whose bracelet was dead to a Versa and it just won't sync to my phone. Is there no way that the Versa settings could be changed so that it syncs with a computer instead. My Alta used to sync perfectly with a computer.

Well I deleted all the fitbits from that computer …AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT AGAIN…. So I’m pretty sure it did!!!

Good luck, I am on my second Versa.  First one died in 2 weeks now this one simply will not sync.  Tried everything with zero success.  Through Amazon comments and others online its a common issue.  I hope you are successful. If you are successful it would be great to know what you did.  I am out of options I found online

I solved my problem by going on line and working it out on my phone. I don’t remember exactly what I did but I followed the instructions online. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
