Versa won't synch steps to Challenges

One of my great motivators is competing in weekly challenges. My Versa, however, won't transfer the steps to the Workweek Hustle no matter what I try. Rebooting the phone and device don't work. I am ready to give up and go back to a flex.

Hi, @laul0006, are your steps syncing to your app?  Do you see them on your dashboard as well as your Versa?  Once they sync to the app they sometimes do take a little time to transfer to the challenges as well, but should get there eventually.  How long has it been since they have synced?

 

Also, are you in the same time zone as the person who started the Challenge?  Being in different time zones can cause some discrepancies in number of steps synced.

I have had the Versa since May so I've gone through many weeks of challenges. Questions about time zones and waiting for the synch to transfer to the challenge are nonstarters.  Over the course of many weeks, I've ended the week with fewer than 10,000 steps transferred to the challenge overall, although I do at least that every day.

 

The steps do show in the app and on the dashboard if I log on via my computer.  They do not "take a little time to transfer to the challenges" and they do not "get there eventually." They don't ever get there beyond some small random number that at least shows my friends I'm present.

Hello have you found a workaround with this issue? I'm having the same issues when I'm invited to a challenge but not when I start the challenge. I've tried everything.
