I had purchased Versa almost a year back and never used it daily just occasionally.
From past 3 months, I was not using the watch. So I speculated that the battery must have drained off.
I tried charging for more than 30 minutes (as mentioned in help docs). I cleaned the contacts (of the watch back as well as the charger pins) with rubbing alcohol, still nothing.
I tested the output voltage of the pins and its 4.84V so the charger is working fine but my Fitbit is not.
I tried holding the power button for a couple of minutes, nothing. Even held the power + lower button on the other side, nothing. Also kept holding all the 3 buttons, nothing.
I am really frustrated! What to do? Shall I just throw my Versa in garbage???

OMG! My Versa is now working!
The last thing I did was, I had cleaned the contacts using rubbing alcohol and cotton Q-tips and left it to charge for more than an hour.
Now I just saw its at 19% charge 😄
There is still hope!

Ok, now I'm continuously using Fitbit (every single day) even when I goto sleep, it is in my hand. I make sure that the device is charged and running.
I woke up this morning and found my Fitbit to be dead. I assumed it might have run out of power. So I plugged it into the charger and let it charge for a while.
I come back to see it still not booting up and infact it got a little warm. I'm afraid to charge it now, fearing it might blow up?
What to do?
