I turn off the Fitbit but the screen stays on and flickers sometimes. It's draining the battery.

Welcome to the Community @Blackberry1996.

If your Versa display isn't working, I recommend restarting the watch by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

About the battery, take a look at this post and following the instructions provide there.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

I’m having this same issue and restarting the watch didn’t help. My battery was full last night and within 10 hours my battery is at 21%...

I am also having the exact same issue.

Hi, I really hate to suggest this, but I'm afraid this will be the only solution: try a Factory Reset. In the link you will find how to do that and also that you need to setup your Versa as if it is a newly bought watch. Good luck.

Thanks , after 3 or 4 attempts I was able to get the factory reset to complete. Bad news it may have been my favorite watch face that was causing the issue. They have removed it from the library 😭

Yep, that can happen cause Third Party Clock Faces are not always completely compatible with the new Firmware Version.

I thought I had this issue resolved after several factory resets. However now my Fitbit flashes on and off every 10-20 seconds ? Doesn’t matter if I have it on my wrist or not ?

Hi, are you able to do anything with your Versa? If yes, install a Clock Face from Fitbit itself. The default one is called "Layers".

I tried this and nothing is happening.

I had to do a factory reset to get the phone to shut off. Not a problem since I am still in the process of setting up my fitbit

I tried the whole hold for 10 seconds... i even tried holding it while charging and nothing its stuck on the last thing i did last night "source". its been this way for 8+ hours. Battery isn't draining which at this point i want it to die so i can see if the screen will change.

Will not restart, will not allow you to press anything on the screen!
