Versa won't turn on

I charged my Fitbit Versa and when I took it off the charger the Versa was very hot and will not turn on. This happened a week ago, but I was on vacation and had spotty WiFi. Any suggestions how to fix this? My Charge HR (first Fitbit I owned) the band came apart. I am not having much luck with Fitbit. Please help, I know that the charger works, because my wife's Versa charges just fine.

If your Versa isn't turning on, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

I already tried that and it did not work. I tried again and still nothing. This was a father's day gift and is also the second Fitbit to either stop working or with my charge HR fall a part.
