I took a shower with my fitbit, and it turned off, It is not working. I put in in a ziplock with rice. Has anyone had any positive outcome?

@MIALOLA welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not turning on, even though you have put it in rice.

I'd like you to restart your Versa as described in this help article. In case your Versa is still unresponsive, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

Hi JuanJo,

Unfortunately, the FitBit Versa, never turned back on. Do you have any other suggestions, I am really heartbroken. If you know if this can be repaired, please let me know. thank you again!

The Fitgbit Versa should not get wet, I called and the rep had me factory reset it and since I can not see the screen, I can not even connect it. I am really disappointed with Fitbit, I wished they would have not claimed for it to be water resistant. I would have definitely have taken it off in the shower. After seeing this problem with so many other customers, I feel FitBit is misleading the customers. I don't have warranty, and they gave me a coupon. I don't even think it is really worth the trouble of getting a new one. I really loved my watch, but now I don't know if I should even bother getting another fitbit. So sad and disappointed.
