Versa won't turn on

  • This is my second Versa and a replacement for my first. Tonight it died. Black screen, nothing on. After swimming yesterday it started being erratic.  Random things on screen and the battery must have been low because this all started after a half mile into my swim. It was working fine after charge and now it is unresponsive.  This is so aggravating as this replacement is only 6 mo. old.

@Swirthwhite, it's great to see you in our Fitbit forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa won't turn on.

I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger.

In the meantime, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

As asked if my fitbit vibrates when placed in the charger, no, it does not.

I have the same problem. Mine is only 13 months old. Warranty just expired. It does not vibrate when put in the charger, but says it is 100% charged. As soon as I take it out of the charger, the screen goes black and NOTHING?

What next?

Very frustrating as this is the replacement that was sent to me after my first Versa overheated in the charger! I am definitely having my doubts in this brand.
