Versa won’t turn on

My Versa has been acting up the past few days. It wouldn’t recognize scrolling or touch. It would also have a serious lag time with touches, and the screen would start scrolling randomly and getting into apps on its own. I’ve had to reset the watch several times yesterday and today. Now it won’t even turn on. 


How do I even turn it on now? Holding the left button does nothing. Holding the left and bottom right button also does nothing. What gives?

Mine is doing the same thing. No response at all from my versa, doesn't matter which buttons are pushed, which charger is used, etc. I have cleaned my watch and chargers to make sure there wasn't anything interfering there. Nothing works! Before it stopped working completely the battery would be dead completely by lunch even after charging at night. This started suddenly when I used to be able to get several days use before charging. Idk what is going on with fitbit but mine has gone downhill rapidly.

Same here. Although I had a 89% battery on it and it died. Black screen and nothing. Tried to restart with no luck

I am not sure what happened but after several frustrating days without my Versa it miraculously turned on. I hope others will get the same results.

I am having a similar issue with my Fitbit Versa2. however i dont see any support from the help desk or from the support documents and center. Very disappointed with the product n service. it's not worth the cost. hope some resolution comes through from the support team.  There is no other way to resolve without their help. Else its a clear indication that they do not want fitbit to increase sales. Makes me loose trust in them n will not recommend buying any model by anyone.

I have the exact same problem - I have scrolled and scrolled for a solution and I cannot find one? Mine does nothing no matter what I do. Strange!!

This is an update issue which was acknowledged in a previous chat but when you call customer service they will not acknowledge it.  The answer is your device MAY be defective, here is a discount code to order new.  We want to keep you on Track!  HA not happening! I will go to another competitor to keep me on track.

I ended up calling Customer Support. Since my Versa is still under warranty, I am getting a replacement.

That is great.  Mine is not under warranty and I have proven that there is no defect as the battery is fine when I am logged out of the app so my watch is not defective.  I refuse to give them money when they will not fix their issue. Yes I am stubborn but also an accountant and Project Manager so can not figure out how the developers released this update with the many issues.

Was there some software update that caused this? Can you ask when you call customer service and report back? Im so disappointed that I’m the short 6 months that we’ve owned them, this has already happened.

Hi mine is the same charged it this morning and on holding down the button on the side it says ‘nothing new here you are all caught up’ but the screen is blank 🤬🤬🤬

Has anyones turned on yet today is 6/22/2021 and mine just went blank! please let me know. For a few days it said the wrong time and would not sync I unpaired it and then couldn't pair it again! I am so frustrated and looked up so much help and it seems everyone has issues yet no answer on how to fix it ugh sad..
