Hi  so I recently got a Fitbit Versa probably two, three months ago and now the sensor lights aren’t working. It’s not turning green and there’s a faint red dot that shows . I only noticed it this morning when I noticed it wasn’t taking my heart rate and foot steps.

Hello,

I noticed the same problem today. My Versa runs on battery for only 11 hours (from full battery). I charged my device to 100%, as a result the heart rate monitor/light sensor does not work.

HI,  I'm having the same problem... there are a lot of posts saying that the latest update from Fitbit has a Firmware Problem..

Tech Support knows about it and telling people an update will be out soon to fix it. Just wanted you to know that your not alone in this but keep checking for updates. I'm sure it will be soon as so many people are having problems.

I have also been having this problem. The red light is constantly on. I have tried rebooting it and even set it back to factory settings

Question on mine I have no red or green lights, will this firmware update also fix this issue?  I called tech support this morning and they said they could find know know issues with this in the forums?  And all they would do for me was tell me that they would give me a 25 percent discount on the purchase of a new one.  The warranty on mine just went out in July.  To me this is a very porr product,  I escentially don't even have a 200 dollar paper weight because it's not heavy enough to hold down paper.  Basically all I have now is a 200 dollar pedometer.  And I am seeing this issue all over there forums not jus with the versa but their other products as well.

Add another user with the same issue.  Battery life fell of significantly over the last couple weeks and I noticed yesterday that the heart monitor was not functioning.  Tried restarting, cycling HR on and off, and a factory reset with not success.
