So I have had my versa for almost 2 months. In this 2 month time, the first week I wake up and there is 50000 steps before I even took 20 steps. I contact the on line help and they tell me it was because I had it charging next to a fan, and they can not remove the steps. (They were great and very informational thank you online customer service).
It took me 2 months to finally get my text messaging notifications to finally work.
2 weeks ago I had to charge it every other day. How can you get accurate tracking when your charging it all the time
And now today (I will skip the swearing part) it wont turn on. I tried pushing the restart button, but nothing.
I am sorry but the amount of money I have spent on this to help me keep track, this is 1 very frustrating, and 2 very disappointing!
Just my 2 cents
Thank you for letting me rant
Diana.

As with any electronic devices, it has it’s issues in general but I have a lot less problems with it. In fact, I only have one issue with my Samsung and that is the floor count which I was having similar issues with my Fitbit Versa. The step counts don’t always count with the Samsung and it shoots up the floor count when you walk in an elevated area (similar to the versa). But the set up was quick and I have no other issues. I can receive and decline calls, receive notifications and text. In fact, the quick text replies has a lot more choices, and I can also do voice to text or type my own text replies! It does sleep tracking (although not as detailed as Fitbit) and does all the calories and stuff. I can challenge other Samsung s health users. And it’s waterproof like the versa. Battery will last about 2 days so the Versa does have better battery life. But always do your own research. Personally, I’m very happy with it.

I went through 2 versa before getting my Samsung sports gear and I’m happy so far.

Me too. I just got the blank white screen of death. Mine isn’t even 2 weeks old. I’m not sure I even want to bother exchanging it for a new one. Toying with just using my Charge 2 or going with the Apple Watch.

I did not know samsung carried a sport watch. Does it have the same features? Heart rate, sleep tracking, step count, water proof, calories? All of that, or did you lose some features?
After reading some of the issues on the community hers I went back and noticed that it was not tracking my sleep correctly either.

Versa 1. Six months old. Woke up to an unresponsive screen today so lost my training run details. The heart rate seems to take a day off every two weeks so more information lost. The sleep tracker has never been correct. Don't think I'll be getting another fitbit any time soon. My £10 chinese HRM seems more reliable.

Diana,
Sorry that your Versa is not working correctly.
I’ve had my Versa 2 since late late year and it’s had some issues but nothing to the extent you’re describing.
It must be defective. Might be just the unit you have. Maybe Fitbit will replace it?
Hope you get this resolved.
I also hope your day goes really well!
