Watch faces and display malfunctioning

I recently upgraded to a Versa 2. I purchased the Corvo flower watch faces bundle, and re-downloaded the Flashlight app.

No matter which face I use, it malfunctions. When I raise my wrist to view the Versa2, it will be a plain black face. In order to view the downloaded faces, I have to continually flip my wrist back and forth.
Also, the flashlight app doesn’t work at all. It lights for a second or two then goes out. I used that app with my first-generation Versa with no problems whatsoever.
How do I fix these issues? It’s VERY frustrating. Just a note: this is the SECOND Versa 2 that I have purchased. The first one barely worked at all and I returned it after not getting anywhere with customer service. I assumed then that it was just a faulty device. I purchased another hoping to get a “good” one. It’s looking more and more like the Versa 2 devices just have a ton of “bugs”. (In addition to the issues I explained, the Versa 2 drains my phone battery like crazy!  Any help would be appreciated.

@Kmocota Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried. Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your watch.

I appreciate that you mentioned you bought a second Versa 2. Based in what you mentioned, it seems that you installed apps and clock faces from third-party developers. These apps aren't managed by Fitbit, therefore, you may want to contact the developer for further assistance. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I set up and troubleshoot apps on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
