I am currently trying to install "Street by Dalpek", and while I realize it's "large" by Fitbit standards at 2.46MB, it's really still not so large that my watch should still be trying to install it 45 minutes later, leaving me hostage to the watchface install process for a measly 2.5MB.
Now my Versa face is all black (pending the installation of this watch face, which who knows when it'll finish).
I've tried the usual "stuff" that's suggested here.. stop the software, start the software. Disable Bluetooth, disable wifi, re-enable.. it looks like the watch face is in the process of installing, but making a person wait a hour (or more, who knows when this will finish) insane.
I hate to mention my previous nkn-Fitbit branded watch again, but come on, I could change faces on my Amazfit BIP in no more than a minute and a half.
I haven't sold the BIP yet, but with all the weird syncing and install problems I've had with the Versa since receiving it, I'm strongly thinking about switching back to the El Cheapo (BIP) smartwatch and getting a refund on the Versa. I've owned the Charge HR and the Flex 2, and while they had their quirks, they were nothing compared to the quirks/bugs I've experienced with the Versa.

Hi, one reason for taking so long to install thos Clock Face is that it might not be or partially compatible with the new Firmware version. A lot of Third party Clock Faces have this problem. Contact the developer of your choosen Clock Face and ask her/him to update his Face.

Actually, what fixed my problem was turning off my wifi.
I don't know why updating my watchface over WiFi would be broken. I have a great speed at home, but I'm wondering if being on the Google mesh network is disagreeing with the Versa.

Might be, not certain about it. Nevertheless, installing a new watch face shoudn't take that long with or without WiFi.

Not knowing what phone you have @Jeffrok I can only take a guess.
Bluetooth and wifi cover the same radio band, most Android phones user one antenna for both, some even use the same radio. I'm this case some Android phones have problems using the wifi to receive and the Bluetooth to send the update. I think it is timing problems.
