Hi, are you using a default Clock Face or a Third Party One. This makes a great difference in behaviour of the weather app. If you use a Third Party One, would you be so kind to send me then name of the clock?

OK, so your problem is not caused by different weather providers. what you can try is:
1. Go to the weather app within the Fitbit app.
2. Press on the settings right next to it
3. Press settings and you will see Temparature Unit and List of cities
4. There you probably will see "Current Location"
5. Press add city and enter manually your location, e.g. (f.i.) London UK and press search. Once you see your location, press it and it will be added to the list.
6. Restart your phone and your Versa and sync and see if the weather is updated now.
Works for me already a long time. Hope this will work for you too!!

Do you have all-day sync turned on? The watch must be connected to the phone to get current weather info. (This is one reason I don't utilize the weather feature on the watch; all-day sync drains too much battery.)

I think I know what you mean, but's important for me to know if it works or not. For me it does it that way. When it will not work for you, we have to found out the reason for it.

@Carolinrpam I assume that you are referring to the standard weather app and not a clock face.
May I ask what type of phone your having issues with?
Do you have issues with notifications our connected GPS, they use the same connection, which is separate from the sync.
Do you have always connected enabled in the Versa settings?

my fitbit versa 2 doesn't sync with the weather. I was on the phone with rep for quite a while. She couldn't get it working. Then said that it's an issue with other phones and they're trying to resolve the problem. She was unable to give me a time frame. I've only had this fitbit for about a month. Weather was working fine till the other day. I'm wondering if others are having the same issue or is it just MY fitbit?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Technically when opening weather the app reaches out to through the phone to the weather server on the Internet.
What I find interesting is that sometimes Alexa works while weather doesn't and the opposite may also occur even though both services get their data in a similar way

Thank you.. still don’t know if problem is with my Fitbit or with other versa 2 owners.. Fitbit SAYS it’s mine, but something they need to resolve!
But, again thank you for responding.

I've been on the phone AND on email with representatives of Fitbit. My issue continues to be that they're selling a product that does not do ALL they SAY it does. My weather worked for about 3 weeks right after I purchased it. Since then it does not sync. All measures have been tried. The supervisor keeps telling me that they're working on the issue. I bought the Versa 2. It's SUPPOSED to do everything including the weather and it does not. I could have purchased a Charger or a Versa lite for less money. I even asked them to send me another Fitbit and I would send mine back so that they could try to fix mine. They said they couldn't since it's an issue they're working on. So this is where I am. I must say the reps are very nice. I still don't understand them selling the Versa 2 with ISSUES. Telling the public ALL that it does. To me, it's misrepresentattion. Sorry to continue to vent.
