I just got a new versa 2 and it will not Bluetooth with my Samsung galaxy s10 plus. I have tried everything and read through the help pages. It still will not pair. When I try it just says "an app is needed to use this device"

@Lexiib Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the research and the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.
Please confirm you've tried the following as it has helped others:
- Remove your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth
- Log out from the app and log back in
- Force quit it
- A popup sync should appear, click on it to accept it
Hope this helps.

Did you install the Fitbit app from the Play Store? You can't pair to your phone using the phone's Bluetooth settings, it's all done using the app.
