Hello, I have a fitbit versa I was wondering when the new software update will hit my fitbit? I'm still not getting text messages from my phone and some other notifications I did all the trouble shooting but nothin helped I'm hopin the new software update gets to my versa soon.

What platform are you using for your phone? I have an Android and I'm still waiting for my firmware upgrade as well. It's a progressive roll out, which means only a small percentage of the users will get it at a time. Eventually, we will all probably get it, you and I must be in the 90-ish percent that don't have it yet.

I have android to Samsung Galaxy s9+ n alright I see wat u gettin at hopefully soon we all get our firmware update I miss get my texts on my versa it comes in handy, hopefully soon the firmware update comes out soon.

Firmware updates are usually staggered to minimize server crashes.
They are released to accounts, not the type of phone.

I just got my new versa last night. I am not receiving Message+ or any text message for that matter.
Im frustrated that I see this has been an issue and has not been resolved. Seems that the tracker is a bit expensive not to work.
I have went through blog after blog and did so many things to troubleshoot but nothing works.

The latest Versa firmware is 32.35.12.24 what version is your Versa at?
What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
As for notifications it would be helpful to include the phone model so we may help with this setback. It most likely is a setting in the app, phone, or on the Versa. Your phone is not in it's DND mode, correct?

I am using the Samsung S9, my firmware on the VERSA is 32.32.12.19 I cannot find where or how to update the firmware. I removed the device and the app from my phone etc. reloaded it today and it still will not receive notifications from Message+. My phone is not on DND and I am receive emails, phone calls etc on the versa.

There should be a message to tap on, either on the dashboard or on the Versa settings page.
If not let's do an add device choosing the replacement option. If this doesn't work to get you the update, I suggest reaching out to Fitbit.

I reached out to fitbit this morning. After spending just over an hour on the phone with them I was adivised: "Our engineers are aware this is an issue and they are working to fix it" I let them know I would like to return the device since it doesn't work properly and I have had it 3 days, I was put on a long hold to see if I could return it. When the Customer service rep came back on she said I could. I asked her if I could exchange the device for the Ionic since I have literally had it 3 days. She told me I was not allowed to "upgrade" at this time. I said I dont want to upgrade, I would like a device that will work. So I asked if we could get the Ionic at the sell price again told no. I am beyond frustrated at this point
