White screen on Fitbit Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Versa was working fine this morning, and then all of a sudden the numbers starting getting smaller, lines showed up on the screen and then everything was gone.  All I see now when I press the left button is a white center area with lines going through it.  I've tried synching it, restarting it (which does nothing), no words, numbers, or anything but a white area shows on my screen.  I received this Fitbit as a Christmas present December 2018.  Please help!!

I don't know if you went in water but we took two of ours in water for the first time weds night and both are completely dead afterwards. Mine did what yours did and our other versa was just black and unresponsive and non functional.

Mine still tracks steps and syncs but I can't do anything on the device itself. I will show you what it looked like before the screen went completely black.

Of course yours is still under warranty so I'd try to go that route. Ours are not, but it's so obviously caused by swimming which is unfortunate because they are 'Swimproof.'FB_IMG_1564957165536.jpg

Thank you!  My Fitbit looks the same just more white in the center.  3 days ago I accidentally had my Fitbit on when I got in the shower & immediately took it off.  It was not in water long enough to get soaked.  I feel lost without it!!

Not to scare you, but mine started as the white circle in the center and became the above image a few hours after on August 2nd. This was also after water exposure. As of today, my tracker is obsolete. Last time it successfully synced was 1 am today.
