why isnt Fitbit comoatable with Nike RunApp. I have been a fitbit customer for several years. Now needing a new tracker. Without Fitbit  being compatible with Nike RUN app I will be forced to switch tracker brands...

If you have been a Fitbit customer for years and they have never worked with the Nike RunApp, why do you expect it to work now? It will probably never be compatible.
