I keep setting up Wi-Fi and it connects every time and even the check mark shows up on the screen, but less than a minute after I connect it to Wi-Fi, it just disconnects from Wi-Fi! Please help I have checked and done what every Fitbit troubleshooting topic tells me to do and it still doesn’t work!

Hi, when connecting to Wifi, is your Versa at that moment in the charger and connected to PC? This is mandatory cause the Versa itself does not have Wifi, but uses either your phone or PC as a bridge to connect to Wifi.

Is your iPhone, on which I assume you installed the Fitbit app, also connected to your Mac?

If you mean WiFi network, yes, they are all on the same WiFi network and same Apple ID signed into both

No, I mean physically connected to your MAC.

I usually plug the charge it while it’s plugged into the Mac via usb outlet

You also have to plug in your iPhone when you want to connect to WiFi and stay connected and not be disconnected after 1 minute.

you mean plug iPhone into Mac with a lightning apple cable (charging cable)? I did not do that but when you said stay connected for 1 minute, that is the problem I am having, it connects then disconnects to Wi-Fi

If you want to stay connected to WiFi, f.i. for transferring music to your Versa or the like, the following is needed:
1. Your Versa needs to be in the charger and connected to your PC during the entire session in which you need the WiFi connection.
2. Connect your iPhone to your PC also and go to Wifi settings within the Fitbit app and see if your network is connected, when not, press the white icon on the right side of your network's name and it will start connecting. Once it's connected, not only the white icon turns to blue but it also says "connected".
This is the only way to keep the WiFi connection for longer than 1 minute. Reason for that is that the Versa does not have WiFi on it's own, but uses either your phone or PC as a bridge to connect to WiFi.

I’m connected towifi but I get this

This is very strange, cause it always works for me:
Reboot your Versa at least twice by pressing and holding the left and right lower button together untill the Fitbit logo appears and release the buttons. After that retry what I posted before. If this does not work, I will send you an expanded version of how to connect and stay connected to WiFi. Also I would advice you to do the following:
1. Turn of BT of your iPhone and deinstall Fitbit.
2. Restart your iPhone
3. Reinstall Fitbit app again and enable BT on your device.
After that, see if the suggestions I posted earlier will work. Keep me posted!!

@hudsoncollins Your WiFi connection stays on if it's active. It's only active if you are transferring music or updating firmware. Otherwise the wifi connection will time out after a period of inactivity. Are you saying it disconnects while you are transferring music or updating? Or, are you just trying to keep the wifi connection on? Your phone and Versa communicate with bluetooth and thus the wifi connection is only occasionally used. My Versa looks just like yours right now with the message WiFi Off.

Hi, as I understand it this is not his problem but the problem is staying connected to WiFi when needed for whatever reason. F.i. if you want to install the update to the newest Firmware, WiFi is needed is it almost fails via BT and, besides that, it's remarkably faster.

Yes, it turns off when I am transferring music or downloading an update

Hi, now I will try to get you give you the instructions you need to stay connected:
1. Put your Versa in the charger and connect it to your MAC and leave it there during the entire procedure you need to be connected to WiFi.
2. Connect your iPhone also to your Mac and also leave it connected during the netire process
3. Go to the Fitbit app on your iPhone
4. Go to Wifi settings and see if your Network is displayed
5. If yes, press on it and enter the password of your router manually (Capital sensitive)
6. After that, you will see a white icon on the right side next to your Networks name
7. Press the white icon and Fitbit will start connecting to your network
8. Once connected, the white icon will turn to blue and it will say "connected"
Now you're connected to the WiFi network. Also your Versa will be, as long as you keep it in the charger and connected to your MAC. The same accounts for your iPhone. When you disconnect the Versa during this process for whatever reason, you'll loose connection within one minute. Good luck and keep me posted.
