Hello, I've got a fitbit versa 2 recently and while setting everything up, I've found an issue.
I am unable to connect to my wifi network. I've recorded a video showing the problem. I would really appriciate is someone helped me with that. What am I doing wrong? Is the app supposed to work this way or is it a bug?

Hi @m.urubek , connection to your WiFi network and the Versa 2 only works when your Versa 2 is in the charger and connected you your PC. Regards kuzibri

I can't follow the video.
Is your WiFi 2.4ghz

Well, on the video, the watch was connected to my pc. Not the laptop, where I was trying to connect the wifi. But even after I connected the watch to my laptop, it did the same thing - it says not connected at the end.

Yes, my wifi is 2,4Ghz (you can see it on the video) and it is secured by WPA2 personal which should be fine according to fitbit guide.

Sorry but through my phone, I was unable to see much on the video. Your bouncing between 2 screens on unknown devices.
I did see this screen, at 0:47 that shows that the versa was successful in connecting to WiFi, and this was followed by setting up. I'm not sure why after successfully setting up the WiFi the video goes back to setting up WiFi.

On the screenshot, it says, that the connecting succeeded.
But if I look at the connection (the last part of the video), it says not connected.
According to this post, it should show my network IP.
Also, internet dependent apps do not work, such as weather or Workout Genius. So I believe, that the watch truly isn't connected to my wifi. Is there anything I am missing?

I'm not sure what the workout genious is, but when opening the weather app, this app reaches out through Bluetooth to the phone, then the phone goes out to the Internet to get updated weather
I'm not understanding why after the connected message, the setup process was immediately restarted.

I have downloaded a clock, that should display weather and it doesn't. I suppose, that app accesses a weather server directly from the watch. Workout genius is an application that needs to pair with my account I have created on their website. But the pairing process is stuck, so again, I suppose it does not have internet connection.
I believe, that everything will be sovled, after I resolve the issue in fitbit app I was describing in my first post.
Why is the setup process restarting? Is that a software bug or is it possible that my watch has some hardware issue? How do I find out?

The weather in the clock will connect to the weather server on the web that the developer has chosen, it does not use the weather app on the tracker.
For workout genious you will need to contact them.
As for the issue in the first post. I do not know what is happening. Have you contacted Fitbit.
Your video shows a successful setup then I noticed that you start it over.

Hi, the weather API used by Fitbit is Accuweather. When your DL'ed Clock face uses another API/Provide (f.i. Forecast), the weather will not be shown on your CF. Regards kuzibri
