Guys, whenever I sync my versa with my IPad, it keeps restarting. Got any tips? Anything to do with the apps I installed? Please help!

@JSpider does it only happen when you sync with ipad or other devices as well?

I just used an iPad. But I have 2 computers with my Fitbit account and my Versa doesn’t like to sync to it.

@JSpider Before I recommend a factory reset, please try the following:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your iPad's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your iPad and install Fitbit mobile app
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in iPad's Bluetooth settings
  6. Grant all permissions incl pairing
  7. If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your iPad, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Also, make sure All day sync is enabled.

Try this procedure to see if the sync can be restored and Versa stops rebooting. If not, restore your tracker to factory defaults as indeed this can be related to 3rd party apps. Restoring the tracker to factory defaults will wipe it, so it would be good if you could sync first. I understand you may not be able to. You will also need to delete your tracker from the Fitbit account (in the Fitbit mobile app) and your Paired Devices list in your iPad's Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, you will need to set it up again by adding it as a new device in the Fitbit mobile app. Good luck!

Thanks! I recently heard someone say that it is a bug, and later it will be fixed in future updates. If that does not work, then I will follow the procedures you gave me above. Thank You!
