crack in the screen

I received a Fitbit Versa for Christmas, I have contacted someone on the support line and told them that I have found a crack on my screen and let them know that I have not dropped it or hit it against anything. They offered me 25% off (which is the price my mother paid during Christmas, so it's not really a deal) and 40% a more expensive watch. My mother said that she paid extra for damage protection..how can I fix the screen? And not pay the same exact price she paid.

@snbehnke23 In that case, you need to contact the retailer from whom your mother obtained the watch and the extended warranty. I do not think Fitbit offers extra coverage against physical damage, so it must have been the retailer.

@snbehnke23 I certainly do not offer anything. I do not work for Fitbit or any retailer. Fitbit does not cover cracks in screens. If you have such a coverage, you need to reach out to the insurer.
