factory reset needed - how to?

unable to find the versa factory reset procedure.

Ingram Micro sent me a watchface with no troubleshooting done for a "no charge" issue bit.JPG.  The replacement watch face reads in multiple scrolling languages: "to start download the fitbit app".

The app has been on my iphone for the past 8 months and has been working properly, so I've already downloaded it.

Looking in the community for the versa I found an article stating to go into bluetooth settings, locate the watch and select forget settings.  The iPhone found the device again. and IS synching / counting steps.

I found this on the internet and followed - the foreign languages still scroll:

How to hard reset Fitbit Versa using hardware buttons
  1. On the Versa, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. ...
  2. When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration.

Anybody know what I can do before I run my car over this watch face ingram micro sent me?

So you have the app and the Versa.  I don't quite understand why you think you need to do a factory reset.  Do you think that the new (or replacement) Versa somehow knows that you have the app already downloaded?

Did you try going into the app and 'Set up a Device' to add the tracker to your account?

instead of trying to be a wise **ahem** to increase your forum numbers , I was hoping I could get the procedure to reset the watch - is that too much to ask for?  If you can't treat other people with respect, fitbit needs to block you

Sorry for offending you.  I was just trying to get more information to be able to help you.  I will try to remember not to try to help (offend) you again.
