fitbit versa gps help

trying to get my fitness up and currently have a blaze. It really annoys me that I have to remember to go onto my watch, exercise and walk to connect the GPS. If I get the versa when I start walking will this automatically track with the GPS or do I have to remember to select it in the exercise option? Please help. Stuck between versa and charge 4 but prefer the look of the versa.

It will track your exercise automatically but wont show a map of your exercise. Exercise has to be started manually to get any GPS data

Would it be worth getting the charge 4? Does that do it automatically 😂🙈

Nothing will do it automatically. You need to manually start the exercise no matter which device. The charge 4 dies in about 3 hours using GPS so I wouldn't even use that over connected GPS until Fitbit figures out how to get good battery life out of a built in GPS tracker like Garmin can do.
