When will Fitbit be compatible to Apple phones as it is with android? Is this even in the works??

Fitbits are currently compatible with the following Apple Devices:

I am aware that Fitbit is not currently compatible with any Apple device. I would like to answer texts and calls from my Fitbit just like android users can.

Android users are also experiencing issues with notifications, texts,  etc. after the various app updates and firmware updates.   Still no resolution for the users affected.
