updating Fitbit Versa 2

I want to download the find my phone app on my fitbit versa 2 but it is saying my fitbit isn’t updated all the way. i just got the fitbit today and can’t seem to find an update. how can i solve this?

Be patient for a few days.  When it is new, it usually requires an update.  It can take a few days for the update to be ready.  The phone app will tell you when it is ready.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Solved myself by factory resetting the watch. And the update will be installed along whole pairing.
