my versa 2 has a red X with a message data not cleared sync & try again. how do I get past this message?

Ive tried everything that I’ve done before. It’s the firmware update. We’re screwed until it’s fixed. I think the app needs updating. I asked for help and it sent an error message to them. I log into this community, only it comes up in a foreign language. Totally hosed
