battery drains  within minutes - its over 2 years old as girlfriend had it though never used it and just sat in draw after a couple of weeks still in box - is it possible to get new batteries?

Hi @trigreenotter  Fitbit doesn't sell batteries, so if you want to go that route, you'd need to check online for places that sell them. Some services are out there that will replace them or sell you a kit of what you need to do the job yourself. With a good eye and steady hands, with the right tools, you could probably do it.
