Why should my Versa watch battery life go from days to just hours?

Just now as I type this, battery life has dropped from 22% to 18%.

(I just charged it a few hours ago)

I have only owned this Versa watch for a couple years!

@dswaroff- there are changes to the Fitbit App and firmware, if you still have problems, did the battery drain issue coincide with one of those?

Things to try - make sure the Developer bridge in watch settings is not stuck on, change to another clock face [as they also get updated], restart the watch from Shutdown in the watch Settings menu, About. Try turning off Bluetooth on the phone temporarily to see if the draining stops. And then charge the watch, it will restart.
