versa lite isn't working?

My smartwatch has recently had a weird bright line on the left side of the screen near the button, and then a few days ago it began turning itself off and on like someone was constantly holding down the button? 

 

And then today it is stuck on the connect to phone screen (like I'm going to listen to music) and a black line has appeared next to the bright light line.

 

I can't get off of the music screen, and the button is no longer doing anything... any suggestions?

Best to restart the watch

 

Shut down watch

[ Swipe left, Settings,

at the bottom, About,

at the bottom, Shutdown]

 

wait a minute

 

Start watch [Hold button till it vibrates and wait for Logo and clock to reappear]

 

If you can't swipe left hold the left button for 10 seconds

 

Once you get the watch back do the Swipe left restart process one time.

That would have been my first thought, but the thing is, I cant access any
of the other applications. My watch is simply stuck on the music screen.

The button also doesn't work. It turns on when I pick it up, but the button
itself doesn't work to turn it on

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
