Coach answers disappear

When I get an answer from the coach, the text disappears before I can read it.

Hello @Livinginmotion 

You should be able to see your chat history with the Coach. 

  • Tap the Ask Coach bubble at the bottom of the page. It doesn't matter which page since that bubble should be available on all the Public Preview pages.
  • Tap the clock icon in the upper right of the Ask Coach page. This should open the Chat history page
  • You should be able to see your previous chats with the Coach on this page. Tap on a specific chat to read the conversation.

I am having the same issue. The coaches of no value if you can’t read their response.

Please report the issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app. This is how the team is tracking the issues with the Fitbit app, including Public Preview.

  • Tap your avatar in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts and submit

All the Feedback reports are received by the team for review. Although it's likely that you won't get a response, the team confirmed that they read every single report and categorize them into issue buckets for further investigation.

Same issue - the AI functionality is 100% pointless.  We cannot read any responses as they vanish super fast and cannot be read.  This will push me towards cancelling my subscription.

I have been reporting but no response and it still doesn’t work - frustrating because I can see a response but it disappears before you can read. No history of chats.

I’m using an Apple 17 but it’s not an air. Maybe that is why for some Apple devices it is working?

Same here. I get an answer but it quickly disappears. Chat history is blank. Notes are blank.  iPhone 14. I’ve reported it on the Feedback in app a few times.  Hope they get this worked out- it looks like a fantastic feature.

I have reported the issue multiple times via send feedback. Still a problem! Useful feature if it worked!

Same here! I’ve got the latest updated version on my phone and still the same despite the “bug fix”

This doesn’t work for me. It says there is no coach chat history despite me using the app for 2weeks and the text disappearing before I can read it. If I’m super quick, I can take a screen shot before it disappears but doesn’t often work.

I think it is unfortunate that users are asked to participate in a beta test by Fitbit Labs to help them with product development that turns out to be an exercise in futility. Surely they can do better than that.

The same thing was happening to me. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it started working immediately
