On Android every time I wake up or track an activity I get two different notifications for the same activity. Ex. I went for a walk, got a notice that I tracked a walk and a second notice for doing exercise. It's unnecessary to get both

Are you tracking the walk in another app as well such as MapMyFitness or the one built in on your phone such as Google Health? If you have them linked to your fitbit, that is why. I get the same.

Hello @Nelcoop
I've seen posts from other users reporting a similar issue with duplicate notifications. One user reported that they uninstalled, then re-installed the app on their phone. That seemed to solve the duplicate notifications for them.
