Feedback and Suggestions for App Improvements
Suggestion: Enhancing Cycling Distance Stats
Current Observation: In the new interface, cycling splits are all labeled as "1km, 1km, 1km."
Improvement Idea: It would be very helpful to see sequential totals again (e.g., 1km, 2km, 3km... up to XXXkm). This makes it much easier to track progress and analyze performance during specific parts of a long ride, such as the final segments.
Note on Activity Linking and Data Preservation
Observation: I’ve noticed that when "linking" or editing a workout logged via the watch, some high-resolution data (like GPS maps or heart rate graphs) occasionally gets replaced by a more generic summary.
Suggestion: It would be great if the original sensor data could be protected during manual edits, so we can keep the detailed performance metrics while still being able to update activity labels.
Feature Parity in the New UI
Feedback: While the new UI looks great, I still find myself switching back to the old version for a few specific tasks that aren't yet fully integrated or easy to find.
Missing Elements: I’d love to see the Mood/Well-being logging and other wellness metrics fully functional in the new design as well.
Summary of Suggestions:
Sequential Splits: Bringing back the 1, 2, 3... numbering for cycling kilometers.
Data Integrity: Ensuring original GPS and heart rate data remains intact during activity edits.
Feature Integration: Moving the remaining legacy features (like mood logging) over to the new interface.
Thank You!

Hello @HennoH
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
I can only speak to the Feature Parity in the New UI. The Public Preview is still very much a work-in-progress. There will be more features/metrics & customization rolling out in the Personal Health Coach version of the Fitbit app. There are 2 pinned posts that are updated regularly which I frequently check.
