My feedback to the new Fitbit app

ANSWERED

Fitbit is determined to count my quiet meditation time as sleep, and keeps changing it back after I keep correcting it. The numbers for RHR and sleep score are all screwed up as a result. It has really got so much worse with the new software updates. Will likely ditch it entirely since it is getting steadily worse instead of better

This is a public preview, not the final version.  Tweaks and updates will be made before the finished product is released to the general public.

You can return to the released version by taping on your profile picture at the top right of the app, then select Public Preview and tap Switch app version at the bottom of the screen.

I ran into similar questions about product design and backend decisions when reading industry material outside the fitness space, and I recently found a solid breakdown that helped me understand how platforms balance usability and functionality.
