No New Weekly Plan

ANSWERED

I've tried 10 different ways to get coach to give me a plan for this week.  Reach time I get "will notify you within 10 minutes when your plan is ready".  Then nothing happens. 

I've tried "copy last week's plan to this week" and "give me a simple 30 min walk every day".  Nothing in the weekly plan and the week is almost half over.

Great news! Our team has informed me that this issue has been fixed and that everyone should now see their weekly workouts (an app update is NOT required).

Part of the coach thinks I have a weekly plan... Part doesn't.  And the part that does, doesn't 🤣.

Nope.  I couldn't get any workout to show up for any day of the week. 

I tried a simple "add a walk to tomorrow's workout"

Nothing would work.

Thank you for confirming that you still haven't gotten a workout to show up for your weekly plan. 

If you haven't already done so, please submit this issue using the Report issue feature in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap your picture in the upper right of the Fitbit app
  • Tap Report issue in the menu that opens. If you don't see, Report issue, tap Feedback instead.
  • Complete the prompts and submit.

The Issue and Feedback reports are received by the team for review. 

I'll continue monitoring the forums for any additional info/update on this issue. I'll report back when I've got info to share.

I'm having the same issue. At first, the coach thought it has made a plan, but there was no weekly plan.

 

Now, it acknowledges that I have a week full of "rest days" and asks if I want to make a plan. I say "Of course!", but it thinks on it and never makes a plan. I get an error message.

I'm actually really liking the coach and am hoping this gets fixed soon. Who's gonna plan my workouts?! Not me. 

I entered a "feedback" ticket, but so far, haven't heard anything.

@Angie843414 i did feedback too, but hate how you never get confirmation that it was sent in. I know actually got it, or if the app is glitching and just marking it sent. Clearly there's a lot of glitches. I really wish they had a submit ticket, with email confirmation

@Angie843414 I've encountered this error a few times. What worked for me was to tell it that I wanted a plan based on my preferences from last week (or whenever the last time was that it gave me an acceptable plan). Then, I kept rephrasing that and saying it over and over until it complied. I absolutely understand that this is not ideal, but it did work for me... eventually.

@JMahoneyy can you try asking it if it can access your historic preferences? That was the next step I took to get it to actually use them to generate a plan. Then I asked if it could use those preferences to create a plan.

Still getting this issue today. I got notified that my next week's plan was ready to view and had no workouts listed

If you're still seeing an issue with the weekly plan, please submit this issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap Feedback in the menu that opens. If you see Report issue in the menu, tap that one instead.
  • Complete the prompts and submit

The Feedback and Issue reports are received by the team for review.

Today (2026-Feb-04) this is still an issue! AI Coach understands the workout schedule, yet nothing ever loads to the Fitness tab!
