I've actually been using it this week and find it helpful with keeping me on track. I have my app set to send me notifications for check-ins and whatnot and while I'm there, I check my scheduled workouts.

Coach cannot load my workouts. Getting a try again error for two days now.

I've used the coach for almost 2 months now and all of a sudden yesterday it wouldn't create my weekly workouts anymore and forgot a bunch of my historical workouts info. Very frustrating. What's going on?

@Felic @Kcm09 i had the same issue today, and more.
When i told it to build one, it claimed it was there..so i told it to shuffle and make a new one. I have a plan now, but it's a mess compared to normal. My leg day is 4 sets of treadmill.. i told it i dont like that, and it claimed i am mistaken and there is no treadmill on my plan.
I sent in like 3 feedbacks, but without a "submit ticket" i dont see them direct fixing my issue.

Mine started working late this afternoon. No idea how or why but will update if there are further issues.
Update: 2/13. Worked for a while with some confusion about the types of exercises and equipment available and now it will not show the workout for the day as complete. Very buggy and frustrating at times but still enjoy the overall process of workout design.

The experience ive been having with my coach chat interactions is abysmal. I took a screen recording of a conversation I had with my coach today. Wednesdays are lower body days for me. The workout was labeled correctly, but the workout movements were triceps extensions, reverse curls and skull crushers. I told the coach it was giving me upper body workouts on a lower body day and it insisted that it was not. Until it asked me what exercises I was seeing, then it finally recognized its mistake. Coach randomly scheduled an entire week of rest days and would not fix it for several days, and one time I was using a hotel gym, only had access to dumbells and a cable machine. It adapted the workout for those days, but it applied that equipment limitation to workouts weeks removed from that isolated incident. Is there a way to submit direct feedback to the development team? I've been running into lots of issues lately with the AI coach and id love to be part of the solution.

Same. I've been through in detail multiple times Coach says I have a plan but nothing is ever published in the Fitness tab. So frustrating.

@Iamdaimo which version of the Fitbit app do you have? I saw this issue with earlier versions of the app, but it seemed to be fixed in the most recent app version.

I have a pixel watch 4 and a Fitbit premium subscription. I'm experimenting with AI coach, it created a marathon training plan for me, it is my understanding that I should be able to some added features in pixel watch with premium like being able to see at least some of my plan or today's run. Could you clarify

Latest version of the app. Updated 4th Feb. No updates waiting in queue. Gemini seemed to think it was a known issue with the ai getting data from Fitbit servers. It said it would probably fix itself but it's been four days now and still no workout plan. It is there, the coach references it all the time and the workouts I do against it. But it's not published on the Fitness tab

Yeah I just got started on it and it wouldn't give me a weekly worked out. It was just doing day by day and then you would say it would give me the next week anyway. I just made sure my premium subscription didn't renew because I don't want to deal with AI duckery

Nope. In my experience I wasn't getting workout onto my watch. Strength or running.

I tried this and it was so bad and cumbersome to use that I made sure my free premium subscription didn't renew. It seems like the AI they are using is a couple of generations out of date and loses the plot very quickly. Wouldn't give me a weekly schedule. The onboarding is tedious and it's way to much to maintain if you want to do anything more than what it tells you.
I'm not looking for a coach I need to finesse to get what I need out of it. This may be suitable for someone with no exercise experience but not someone who has previous training experience and looking to up their game or get back in shape.

It's such a missed opportunity. I've been really looking forward to it. I did a trial with Runna and their AI and programmes were excellent - it genuinely made me up my game and changed the way I viewed running and training. However, I quit that as I thought Google/Fitbit would smash it out of the park with this version of Fitbit. Massive fail on their part.

I had challenges with this as I fit many of my workouts in Friday to Monday, so often ill have more than one workout in a day e.g. Pilates morning and swim afternoon or a morning walk with an evening swim, but it was unable to handle scheduling more than one activity per day. Add support for multiple activities per day please.

Hey Rach
Yes, I finally got to the bottom of the problem today. It is unable to schedule a run followed by a cool down yoga stretch. It can only schedule one activity per day. I get that they don't want it to build a plan where people over train but this is nanny state to the extreme plus completely wrong as yoga can be an important part of a running schedule. You would think someone at Fitbit or Google might have done some research or considered this?

I'm a glutton for punishment and went in to test out the app again. It really is garbage and you need to do some heavy work on it. A couple of days ago I decided to schedule an off day and shift my workout plan. Now we're coming up on the start of the new week Sunday in the app and when I talk to the coach it tells me I have an upcoming interval training, but in my next week's schedule workout I have a 5K run tomorrow. It asked me where I see this. I tell it that it's under that today tab in the app. Then I have to go out of the conversation and double check it. When I go back to talk to the coach it's like I never even had the conversation. It has no memory of the conversation. The AI integration into this app is utter and complete garbage and really needs to be rethought and reworked. I have and used a Gemini Pro account regularly and I know it's better than this. So the failing has to be in your integration of the product and the guardrails in place.

I have been in the public beta for sometime and have been a happy premium subscriber. I liked the Coach interface and felt that is was perfect for my varied exercise routines for the week. Like everyone else on this thread I am experiencing the same sudden degradation of the quality of the AI coach. It cannot load the regularly scheduled workout routines and every week begins with nothing scheduled. When creating a circuit training routine it will double or even triple circuits as well as adding too many sets. (Thereby blowing out all time constraints provided in the prompt.) It is highly annoying and would hope that the engineering team would acknowledge the issue and announce it is working on pushing out a solution. There are other apps out there and am starting to consider a change.
