I know the public preview just released but is there a current timeline for features to be added? Loving the current public preview and has been very easy to personalize.

@krittergemini Fitbit/Google doesn't publish a timeline for features. Occasionally, we might see an announcement of an imminent release in 9to5google. I don't have access to this as an iPhone user, but the missing features list looks very long.

@krittergemini There is no timeline currently, but updates will be posted here. Fortunately, it's easy to switch back to the other version of the app to track our other metrics.
I'm glad you're enjoying the Preview so far. Please keep us updated on how things are going for you.

I am very hopeful that the nutrition gets added soon. Food logging is my favorite part of Fitbit. I love looking and comparing it calorie in and calories out.
I'm hoping this new version will allow me to snap a picture of a meal, and it give me the best estimate for calories and macros automatically instead of me having to launch Gemini app and do that every time. (What I currently do when food is not in Fitbit catalog)
I'm also hopeful that I can see a breakdown of nutrition for the day. For example, if I click on a daily nutrition list, it shows me a rough estimate of how much sugar I had, potassium, vitamins, etc
