What happened to workout plans?

I've come to rely on the workout plans in Fitbit Premium. Based on what "Coach" knows of my physical challenges and goals, the app automatically calculated workouts for me for a couple of years. Suddenly it has stopped doing so. Yesterday, when nudged, the app indicated I would get my new workout plan "in 30 minutes" ... then "soon" ... then "coming" ... now none of that.

What's up?

Hi @randalltx, Welcome on board to our community forums!

I know it’s been super frustrating not getting your weekly plans, and I want to apologize for the hiccup! Please know we are listening and working fast to improve the Public Preview.

Here is the good news: A fix is coming with the new Fitbit app version 4.68!

  • iOS: Please manually check your App Store for the update.
  • Android: The update is rolling out throughout the week.

You can check your current version under Profile Picture > Fitbit Settings > Help.

Thanks for sticking with us! Your feedback keeps us moving, and the team is working hard to get everything running perfectly for you.

Thank you. I'll wait to see if the update addresses this.

Hello, I have the same problem. The training program has been empty since Monday morning, and the coach can no longer populate it at all. Even with the latest version, 4.68.

@Romain2826 the only way I've found to fix that is to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. I understand that this is not an ideal solution.

Hi @alexthecat , thanks for your feedback.

Could you give the version of your app ?

I'd tried to reinstall it on the 4.67 without success...

@Romain2826 the current version of the app is 4.68. This bug has been fixed in that version. It is still rolling out, so it hasn't reached everyone yet. Full rollout will take about another week. I hope you get access to it before then, but the rollout is random. There's no way to force it to come to you sooner.

Hi everybody!

Thank you for your comments and feedback. If you have successfully on-boarded the personal health coach and still do not see your weekly workout plan:

  • Tap your profile picture in the app and tap "Settings."
  • Under Preferences, tap "Activity."
  • Scroll to the bottom, tap "Regenerate weekly plan," and wait 10 minutes for your workout plan to show in the app.

Note: Please make sure you are using app version 4.68

Let me know if it works!

Uninstalled and then downloaded the app again. Google Play is still only giving me version 4.67 for my Android.

So, no change, no fitness plan, no link to "Regenerate weekly plan."

I installed version 4.68, and the program doesn't seem to have changed. It's now simply a list of goals suggested by the AI coach.

Furthermore, the coach is having trouble managing these goals. It can't update them retroactively when I ask it on Wednesday to validate sessions I already completed earlier in the week.

The new-styled Coach and workout plan program finally pushed through to my phone with a 4.68.1 app update on April 30. After the download, a forced sync completed the update.

Then it took a couple of prompt efforts to persuade the AI "Coach" to (re-)create the plans for me.

To be honest, the whole experience made me miss opening a Jeff Galloway book.

It will take some time to get used to the new user experience but I'm here to announce that the fitness plans are back.

Hi , could you please show us a screen of it? Is it weekly program or just a list of objectives..

I am in the 4.68 version and I haven't got a weekly program.... Just a list of objectives...
