Ability to control which tracker syncs when using multiple trackers

I am using multiple trackers and while I appreciated being able to turn each individual tracker off when I am not using it, I would like the ability to turn off sync for that particular tracker within the mobile app as well. As it stands now, when I bring up the mobile app to sync whichever tracker I am wearing the mobile app tries to sync each and every tracker to my account. Not only does this drain my battery but it also causes a delay in the syncing process.

I would like to be able to choose which tracker I want to sync from within the mobile app and then only sync one tracker at a time.

Is one of your devices a Flex 2 and another the Alta? The Flex 2 is forced
to “low priority” and the Alta is higher, overwriting the steps the Flex 2
has gained. Multiple people have seen exactly this.

Charge & flex 2.

Actually received new flex 2 from work & it syncs perfectly so my first flex 2 was clearly defective, but sadly I learned it's after having over a year & not using because thought model issue. Warranty expires after year - I just had a useless lemon

Blaze, charge 2, ionic, I've removed the Force, Flex 2, and Alta.

I find that Fitbit looks for the tracker that is most active slurring each minute.

The Flex 2 syncs fine. It’s steps are overwritten by thE Alta when it syncs
after switching over.

I think there should be a way for you to toggle which Fitbit you are wearing in the fitbit app. This would prevent any false overlap in data. I have had it where I wear one of my fitbits and then change to another. Then when I sync them later in the day it says I slept multiple hours and it gets rid of my data from the second one during those hours.

I have 3 trackers, Blaze, Versa, and now (while Versa is in the shop with you guys) Flex2 for water sports. When I switch trackers the app keeps looking for the other 2 trackers even though they are turned off. Perhaps you could put a "toggle" in the app that would let you tell it to stop searching for one and start searching for another. I imagine it is using battery from my phone to continually search for the other trackers and I know that it's annoying when the wrong tracker is displayed in the top left corner of the app. An agent on chat suggested that I remove the ones I'm not using but since I switch daily depending on my activities I'd rather not go through that each time. A "stop looking for" option in the app would be great!

Thanks for sharing your idea @ArkTrikker

This is an interesting idea and I'm sure that users with multiple Fitbits will find it useful!

Let's see what others think about it.

Not to mention that it would be nice if I didn’t hear the Flex2 vibrate in its storage spot every time I get a text while wearing the Blaze.

I have a Charge 2 and a Flex 2.  Most of the time I use the Charge 2, but when I am doing a water activity I use my Flex 2.  Please add the ability to turn off the one not in use instead of having to remove and set up devices.  Even though the devices sort of sync up, sometimes my Flex 2 will record sleep when my Charge 2 is recording an activity, so I remove the Flex 2 after I complete my water activity.  This feature would cut down the daily removal and set up of devices during the summer months when I have water activities.

I use a fitbit alta for daily life and for dry workouts; I use a flex 2 for water aerobics. Things go smoothly when I switch from the Alta to the Flex2, I sync both and the steps match. When I sync my flex 2 away from the alta, it loads fine, but when I go to sync the alta after getting the steps from my flex 2, it overrides the steps as though the 2 did nothing at all. I would really like the ability to target which tracker I want to sync, and for the data from multiple trackers to merge more smoothly.

I have both a charge three and a fit bit one. I trust the fit bit one as more accurate counting steps then my charge three. it would be nice to be able to set the app to use step and floor counts while allowing the charge three to track other activities concurrently. It might be a lot to ask but it sure would be nice.
