Able to access notifications on Charge 5 during exercise

When the exercise tracker is in use, I cannot access any other screens on the Charge 5. Notifications will show up briefly, but if I do not feel my watch vibrate to read the message in time, there is no way to swipe to the notification screen. Please add that function!
