Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

The new app is terrible. The old app was so much more user friendly and easier to use. Why mess with an app that was perfectly fine?

Totally agree!

Awful update.
I have not seen a single comment that is a positive .... please go back to the old format.
I'm actually considering purchasing a different device because of this.

Absolutely awful update.

Who on earth looked at this and signed it off as an update ?

I've been so happy with my fitbit but this update is so poorly designed that I'm actually thinking about going on to a different watch.

Absolutely bloody awful guys.

What has happened to the FITBIT app designers. New designs are meant to be an improvement, not a step backwards.

I have a visual problem and on the old app you could clearly see what your battery percentage was at any time. To read the % on your device is so small I cannot see it.

the new app is childlike in appearance and application.

please go back to the last application

Yes I agree - it looks horrible and gives less info!! What's the point of that? It is very annoying. An update for the sake of it? The earlier display looked SO much better; it was easier to look at and easier to see the important info at a glance. And what was wrong with the Dashboard tab? Says all that you need to say. Ooh I am very annoyed. I wish I could revert to the old interface. I wonder if that is possible - probably not, of course!

Hi, does anyone know how to revert to the old app UI? The new one is horrible and is ruining my experience of Fitbit

Apparently you can if you have an android phone : ) Look up the thread and
you’ll find instructions. Sadly, I have an iPhone

The new update is a retrograde step. It is nowhere near as customisable!  I used to be able to fit on my phone screen all the tiles that were useful to me during exercise. Now, I am limited to groupings that some 'expert' has determined for are the right ones for me! As a fully functioning adult I am insulted that my choices are deemed to be inadequate by a third party who does not know me! Very poor!

Yes, please, how to revert to an older version. The new one is disappointing!

I agree. The new design is far inferior!

The old app appearance was far superior and much more user friendly and helpful! Please go back to the better, former look!

Totally agree! It takes way too much screen real state, forcing user to scroll way too much. Please go back!!

I absolutely totally dislike this new design. It appears to have been designed by a third-grader. It is depressing to look at as others have said. In another thread, I saw that someone missed the stars and animation - like when you made your goal 65 days in a row. This app is so worthless ... add to that that it is impossible to pair my brand new Inspire 3 to text and call notifications ... after many, many attempts - removing and reinstalling - going through every tutorial possible to make them work - still no go!

I'm out on Fitbit after using FB Alta HR for the last 5 years. Time to look at other companies for better data and a more intuitive and user-friendly experience. Too bad!!!

Yeah, me neither. Fitbit should just have a drop down where you can toggle
between the two but their arrogance is overwhelming with that "get used to
it " comment.

You have not taken into account neurodiversity with the latest update to your Home Screen on the Fitbit app. People that have everything from color blindness up to dyslexia need to be taken into account when changing themes in apps. I bought your product because of the prior app color differentiation and fonts used. The app isnt visually appealling

@Mikeb30809 my god mike, stop with the transphobe talk. I’m sure you have plenty of other forums to be hateful.

At least give us some options to adjust colors like the old app. The new look isn't ad nice as the old.
