Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

I do hope so, I miss the colour, battery life at top of page and easy to
navigate data. I don't know how much longer I can look at it the way it is
now. I still have no idea why they decided to make these changes to a
perfectly fine app

Let's hope the forthcoming changes based on feedback received address all
these issues. There can be real improvement to the old / previous app. The
maps tracking walks and runs are horrendous and look like squiggles. It was
always nice to look back on places

Google have deliberately mislead me/everyone about switching to a Gmail account. They sent an email explaining all the benefits BUT not once did they explain you would lose all your friends and family until 2025 or until they also switched. I used to trust Google above all other tech companies. Not any more. Very poor misleading way to treat your customers.

Totally agree the app was easy to Navigate just a pity about the fitbit. Should of taken a full refund when I was offered it.

The new app is bland, boring, messy and overly complicated. I absolutely hate it. Going to look into G**m!n and see if they’re any better. Such a shame because I loved my Fitbit but the app was a huge part of its attraction for me. Now, I barely look at the app whereas before, I’d be on it many time a day.

I keep reading they are going back, but no action. Now today, when I checked my sleep, it was off AGAIN!! Went to not enough to too much. Lost 450 steps by the time I reached 5,000 also. Yes, I actually counted the steps. My bpm went from 80 to 145 to 110 in about 2-4 steps, don't really think that is possible. It is absolutely horrible. If it isn't right by tomorrow, I will be buying another brand. This is terrible. I have been on chat several times, and they really try to help with what they have to work with. But it's in the app itself I think. I have reset my watch several times also. If I have to reset every day, not worth it.

Wholehearted agree with everyone's sentiments. I've never been so put off by a platform's complete redesign. Everything looks the same without any color differentiation. It's so minimalistic it's hard to even read at a glance. Please revert back to the previous version and give it a re-think. The user who did the photo analysis is on to something!

Terrible New look of the updated fitbitapp! 
Lost all desire to use it!

Deleted the free Premium option in the hope that this would give me the former interface back. It did not work.

Please give me back the old, light, more inspired look! I’m only interested in steps and sleep. No need for more space.

Yes I agree. I just use it to tell time, count steps, and sleep score. Occasionally for swimming but my previous two Charge 5's quit after a swim. They were good about a free replacement for the second, and a discount for the third.

I don’t like the new look and function of the app. Previously when you reached a goal, you got fireworks and your circle filled. Now you get a small checkmark under your accomplishment. You get a fitness tracker to close your circles and shoot for something. A check mark is a let down.

I have a pacemaker and use a Charge 5.  During exercise, the 5 overcounts my HR.  I'm wondering if the 5 is double counting my HR when the pacer kicks in.  Has any other Fitbit user experienced this?

I hate, hate, hate this silly update.  It looks cheap.  It is not inviting.  I can't see everything I want to see at one glance.  It's not as user friendly. it's so disappointing!  I had mentioned it to my friends, but they had not updated.  All three of them contacted me as soon as they did the updated complaining as well.

I decided enough is enough. I have purchased a new fitness watch from a competing brand after 9 years of being a loyal Fitbit customer (and buying multiple devices for my self, my 3 kids, husband and extended family). 

I have had issues with data not being recorded, tracking sleep twice at the same time but different start and finish times, food information going missing and  not being able to add back. in, the accuracy and consistency of data seemed a bit all over the place...

I loved the challenges, they are gone. I loved the look and feel of the new app, it's gone. I loved the little fireworks when you achieved a goal, they are gone..  I feel cheated, it's like having a really lovely glass of bubbly swapped for some rubbish lemonade without being asked.
