Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

I fully agree with all the negative comments about the new sleep interface. Which new committee's bright idea was it to change it?  The old interface was user-friendly, easy to read on a small screen, compact, and fun (the fireworks !). The new one has all the charm and human touch of a medical report for medical personnel only. Please bring back the old interface! This type of unnecessary change is how you lose touch with your users over time.

I agree with everyone. The new version is absolutely horrible to read and tracking my sleep and activities has become difficult.
I also don’t like how you can’t change the activity log to the task you were doing.
I hope the developers take all the comments and upvote and change it back.

The new interface design is NOT an improvement.  As others have said, it’s harder to use, unpleasant to look at and not helpful.  Nice if it works better underneath, but please, lose the ugly!

I bought a Fitbit (Charge 6) 2 months ago because I use the app on my laptop because data visibility on a cell phone is difficult for me.  Whatever changes you've made in the past few days is making the app useless to me.

Where did my dashboard disappear to for the desktop app??  It was the launch pad to everything.  And though my sleep log is being updated daily, my activity log hasn't updated in 2 days!  And apparently you can't change the name of the activity any more?  Whatever changes you've made in the last several days have made me want to ditch this device.

Switching to this barely readable format is pretty low.  Its called ethics and morality and i plan on switching to another brand after using multiple fitbit products for years.  Maybe ethics went down since switch yo google.

disgusting

Poor product update. Difficult to read new sleep format

I hope that someone from the Fitbit design team is reviewing all of this important user feedback.  The new sleep graphs are clearly a mistake and should be reset to the previous design,

100% agree . Terrible terrible update. Please change it back nearly 800 responses to@ RebeccaFitbit moderator when asked what faithful customers thought of the update and all agree it's terrible. Were not asked if we wanted this. It wasn't broken so why have you fixed it.

Many Fitbit users are exploring alternatives including my self

I have been a user since 2014, and I HATE the new update.  The sleep details are a disaster.  You don't even know what you are looking at.  You used to be able to click on a place in time during the night to get a little more information, now the sleep screen is so busy that it is useless to me.  Sleep details has always been a huge reason why I use Fitbit, but now, it tells me nothing.  If I get up for 2 minutes, it splits up my night of sleep into more than 1 sleep session.  Bring back the old sleep view; it was a whole lot more informative than all of the dotted lines all over the screen that mean nothing.

Please return to the previous well-designed interface. The new interface is not legible. It must certainly violate basic principles of design especially for dyslexic or visually impaired readers. I have a hard time looking at it. I will likely consider another device and app if this persists.

Does UX read here? Does anyone from Fitbit read here for that matter? I have hated using Fitbit since the changes started to roll out. Please, please give people the option to go back to the original. There was nothing wrong with his it was and it functioned SO much better than it does now. In what universe to product updates make the UX so so much worse? Listen to your customers - and fire the people who recommended, approved and made these changes.

Like so many others, I strongly dislike the recent upgrade which makes the sleep tracker virtually pointless- it used to be very clear and easy to read but is now cluttered and messy and not worth looking at.

i was so hoping the latest upgrade was going to address this obviously very unpopular change.

Please change it back SOON otherwise I’ll be ditching my Fitbit watch.

Agreed, these new updates are terrible!!!

Please, please change back to original state.  The sleep score chart and estimated oxygen variation chart is impossible to interpret.  Why was it changed?  When it is time for an upgrade I will definitely look for a different health tracker, this is HORRIBLE!!!!

The old app was a lot better. It had eye grabbing colours, was compact enough to see a lot at once, and was a lot more interactive. The ease at which you could look into details, or look up old dates and past records, it was so much better.
You must have it archived somewhere. Roll it back, or offer an old look alternative.

If it's not broken DON'T FIX IT!! The new dashboard is horrible (as many of us agree). I just don't understand why I have the ability to choose my watch face look/design/features BUT NOT WHICH DASHBOARD I WANT TO USE. Why don't you give us a choice? Let us choose how OUR dashboard looks. I can't find anything Change this plz - it wasn't ever broken

I had that problem all day last Saturday.  Sunday morning I was able to sync my fitbit and got Saturday's info.  I too figured they were taking away more features of  FitBit

I tried everything that I could find suggested online.  I reset a number of times and then I gave up, hoping that it would reset itself when the day changed. The next day it worked fine.

It started a few weeks to not reliably record sleep data - for the last few days it has not synced ANYTHING with the app on my Samsung s23 other than steps! WTF is going on with Fitbit these days? I assume others are having this problem too. Makes me wonder if I should cancel my premium membership.....

How is it that there are so many comments about these updates, including on other posts about specific data points, and still they keep making it worse??! I've been trying to hold out but ever since these updates were forced on us (no beta as previously mentioned) I have been using the app and my Fitbit less and less which in turn has had an impact on my overall fitness since I used to rely on it so much to help me keep moving. I hate looking at it now... Not only is it worse, but they also never even addressed one of the regularly asked for updates, a dark mode option... I believe many of us would have been much happier with the company if the only change that was made was that we could get the app to be in dark mode (maybe we have it and I just missed it because I don't want to explore the app)...
