Add Drumming to Exercise to pause steps tracking

Add an activity called 'Drumming' where the Fitbit still tracks HR and calories burned but does not count steps. Like the 'Driving' activity, just call it 'Drumming'. I have seen many people complain about this and it has a simple fix of just adding it.

Alternatively, you could allow individuals to create workouts themselves and choose for steps not to be counted!

We need a drumming or music option where you can set a ratio fir counted steps to recorded steps.

Just got my first Charge 5, which shows a drumming session as 'Outdoor Bike'.

Described issue of OP is still relevant in 2023.

5 Years later and this is still an issue! Come on Fitbit... I just want to change my workout to 'Drumming' and not leave it as 'outdoor bike'.

Yes, come on Fitbit ... you have many clients out here asking for this activity to be included.

Periodically I tag @Fitbit on Twitter with #makefitbitfitfordrums . If we all did that would it make a difference?

+1 for drumming. This thread is 5 years long. How many more requests will it take?

Signed up just to add my comment that I would also love to see drumming added as an activity. Insane that these comments go all the way back to 2018 and in 2025 it still hasn’t been added! DO BETTER Fitbit WTF

Since the introduction of the cardio load target, we really need drumming to be an exercise.
