Add Lloyds bank to UK Fitbit pay

More bank compatibility for uk Fitbit pay versa users. So far Fitbit pay is not connected to any major banks in the UK. The very few that fit bit pay is connected to I’ve never even heard of. So as a UK versa owner I have the special edition and can’t use the very feature that separates it from the the normal versa.

is Fitbit pay going to compatible with the major banks in the UK like Barclays, Lloyds, Santander, HSBC, NatWest, TSB, Metro Bank, Halifax, Royal Bank of Scotland etc and also I haven’t seen any where (shops) that accepts Fitbit pay yet.

Bought a Versa yesterday and had made a point of paying extra to get the model with NFC so i could use contactless payment, VERY disappointing to find it doesn't support any mainstream UK banks, so wont work.

Hi Fitbit,

its great to see that fitbit pay has been created but there is just one problem. It does have many UK supported banks. I am considering to buy the ionic which is a great fitness watch, but it would be great to have halifax and other UK banks for UK customers.

Thanks.

Some action at last from fitbit. Please register credit card mastercard
payments for
Bank of Ireland UK.
Also register the othet top 20 uk high st banks

If you cannot do this, convert fitbit software to 3rd party software eg
google pay, apple pay, paypal, samsung pay to allow functionality to work.

If you cannot do this tgen issue an apology to UK ionic owner customers
saying saying fitbit marketing on functionality was misleading AND OFFER a
refund or goodwill payment to existing customers eiher some cash or free
bluetooth headphones or a free new watch strap .
This wpuld do wonders to reclaim your tarnished reputation with uk customers

That's a very good suggestion Paul and something that Fitbit should do as a goodwill gesture to customers. I like you feel ripped off. I'm looking at buying new fitness trackers for family for Christmas and there's no way I'm buying Fitbit how I feel right now  I'm even tempted to throw away my Versa and get an Apple Watch 4 or Galaxy watch. If I leave Fitbit I won't be coming back.

Come on Fitbit let's see if you can do the right thing!

Same repeated request to add Lloyds banking group to the fitbit pay and guess what, same response from fitbit to again put the request on this site.

It's appears that fitbit are not bothered about what customers suggest otherwise they would actually do something about adding major UK banks as standard instead of some banks that most people in the UK have probably never even heard of.

C'mon fitbit, get your act together and take notice of what customers are saying and actually do something about it or what's the point of having/offering a service that you advertise that cannot be used.

Lloyds on the list please

I have been asking for Lloyds to be added for ages now and fitbit have still not done anything about adding it as a bank for fitbit pay.  All you seem to get is messages from them saying they are working hard to add more banks but since I got my Ionic quite a while back, the UK banks available for fitbit pay have not appeared to change.  I find it ridiculous that major UK banks have still not been added after so long.

Please add Lloyds bank and UK Amex to fitbit pay. Very disappointed that this feature is not supported in the UK whilst nearly all major banks in the US are. It was a selling point for my new ionic which I am unable to use and am considering returning it for an apple watch.

I agree. This feature will be very handy for me when im shopping as I very rarely take my card with me. In order for me to use the feature I need Halifax to be added to the list of supported banks

Please Add Nationwide and Capital One to FitBit Pay® UK.

I will be upgrading my Fitbit when this happens!👌

Do not hold your breath. Fitbit set up this group and ignore any feedback
here. It is just a dead end. You need to complain complain complain about
being mis sold and ask for a refund. Let others in this group equally
disappointed if you get any joy from fitbit

Lloyds, Monzo, HSBC and all other main UK banks would be useful. Fitbit Pay is completely useless to the majority of your UK users because of the limited range of banks supported.

NATWEST needs to be added to FitBit Pay. Its embarrassing for FitBit not to have major high street brands already active.

A huge miss-sell when the video launched for the Ionic device. And now a year on it still not available on my device.

Seriously thinking of switching to Apple Watch, (like many other frustrated people).

Please look to add HSBC UK and Channel Islands to Fitbit pay. Major UK banks seriously absent from the supported list!

Just bought a Versa a couple of days ago and just about burst out laughing when I saw the list of supported banks in the UK. Between them they must have about maximum 5 percent of the banking population in the UK. Complete joke to advertise this watch as it is with that level of support. Compare and contrast to the list of USA banks.

No doubt already been said but please add, RBS, HBOS, Clydesdale, TSB, Lloyds.

could you please add metro bank to the banks supported by Fitbit, since having 4 banks that aren't widely used is a bit silly.

Brockenhurst

Please add at least the most standard UK banks, which all do any other mobile devise payments (apple pay, Garmin pay etc). These are HSBC, John Lewis, First Direct. At the moment the pay devise is absolutely useless in the UK as nobody is using these never ever heard off banks!!!!!

Well just my update.

I feel really strongly now that I've been ripped off and misled by Fitbit as I bought the Versa Special Edition for Fitbit Pay. Fitbit should have refunded the difference in price when it was clear they were not going to provide a service customers had paid for. Then to make matters worse Fitbit's response was if people want that feature they need to vote for it. We voted for it when we bought the bl**dy device you **ahem**s!

So as Fitbit is only interested in the US I decided to sell my Fitbit and bought an alternative, one that is supported by pretty much every bank! I'll never buy a Fitbit device again and have taken them off Christmas lists and will buy alternatives.

So bye bye Fitbit, you don't deserve the loyalty being shown by people in these threads you really don't!
