Add Lloyds bank to UK Fitbit pay

More bank compatibility for uk Fitbit pay versa users. So far Fitbit pay is not connected to any major banks in the UK. The very few that fit bit pay is connected to I’ve never even heard of. So as a UK versa owner I have the special edition and can’t use the very feature that separates it from the the normal versa.

is Fitbit pay going to compatible with the major banks in the UK like Barclays, Lloyds, Santander, HSBC, NatWest, TSB, Metro Bank, Halifax, Royal Bank of Scotland etc and also I haven’t seen any where (shops) that accepts Fitbit pay yet.

This is not a feature suggestion. It is a feature Fitbit have sold devices as having. It should have been made clear availability outside the US was limited.

Perhaps if we message them on FB & Twitter they will get the ball rolling with it.  If everyone is asking for it then surely it’s gotta be pushed, it’s one of the reasons many of us bought the Ionic.

Im cery disappointed that i cannot use my fitbit to the full potential. I would like to use contactless payment but Fitbit doesn't support Lloyds bank. 😞

it is disappointing that all UK banks requests have been lumped under one request. How do Fitbit differentiate between the banks and where to add priority in resource effort? 

If you had a thread per bank then people could vote and that would give you areas to focus.

The current dumping ground feels like an out of sight out of mind situation.

Please add Bank of Ireland UK mastercard or bank switch

Fed up waiting for more uk banks to be added.  If you cannot publish a timetable or statement saying if and when more uk banks will be added then be honest with customers and withdraw fitbit pay feature outside of usa which is your main supported country

Please add Nationwide as supported bank. In UK the selection is less than poor.

I do think it’s an absolute shame that there are only 4 banks available for the uk. The speed in which new devices can come out, you’d expect it to be a given that everyone wants Fitbit pay for all the uk major banks. I bought the versa special as it says Fitbit pay available and I thought that was great and at half the price of other devices. Obviously excited once I received it I was so disappointed that my bank Natwest wasn’t available. Very disappointed as I feel it should’ve been made clearer. I love Fitbit and I’m hoping this becomes a reality for us uk fitbitters.

Please add Lloyd’s bank to Fitbit pay as this is the reason that I have bought a Fitbit.

I am thinking about getting the fitbit charge 3 se but if there is no chance that Lloyds will be added to the banking list then i dont see the point in shelling out for the se as fitbit pay is completely pointless in the uk.

You essentially can’t use it to pay in the UK. Think that should be made clearer when purchasing as it’s not actually a feature unless you can use it.

I bought the ionic so i could use the bank feature and swimming,gutted to learn that I only know one of the banks the fitbit currently use,come on fitbit please add more,I wouldn't of minded if I'd of known I wouldn't of spent that amount of money on it for that feature otherwise,I've used fitbit for many years,it's starting to become a let down,this information should be made stated so people know what they are buying.

I was disappointed with the lack of banks using Fitbit - however I noticed a bank called "Starling" on Fitbits list (that is supported) and having opened an account (for free) I'm really pleased with the bank & account and the fact I can use my watch.

I've still got my main account with another bank and also hope Amex will be added at some point as that's my go to payment method day to day but having some money in this Starling account just means that if I need to pop in the shops on the way back from my run I'm able to pay! 🙂

Fitbit I’m a uk Versa user and very happy with the product. But please add nationwide bank to your UK Fitbit pay bank list. I’ve been a user for nine months now without the ability to use this function. Many thanks TJ

Who can clarify what is the process to get banks to support FitBit? We could help going to our banks and asking them to push as well...
