Add Lloyds bank to UK Fitbit pay

More bank compatibility for uk Fitbit pay versa users. So far Fitbit pay is not connected to any major banks in the UK. The very few that fit bit pay is connected to I’ve never even heard of. So as a UK versa owner I have the special edition and can’t use the very feature that separates it from the the normal versa.

is Fitbit pay going to compatible with the major banks in the UK like Barclays, Lloyds, Santander, HSBC, NatWest, TSB, Metro Bank, Halifax, Royal Bank of Scotland etc and also I haven’t seen any where (shops) that accepts Fitbit pay yet.

It's the 25th of deceDece chriChris day and I've just received my fitFit versa and just found out it doesn't support Lloyd's vanks or any well known uk. I  would like to know if you are in discussion with leading banks to make this a reality .As it's what a lot of ionic, versa and charge 3 users want more then anything, then a useless app on our watches.Hopefully we  will get a reply

Lloyds bank for me, although I think this is a waste of time. I have asked several times for an update and been told new banks are being added but never are. Going to give it two montts then sadly I will move on ☹️

Got a special edition charge 3 for this feature, please look at adding Lloyd’s bank, or straight up MasterCard. Seems weird to advertise a feature that is barely possible

I cannot believe that the Fitbit Versa is not compatible with Barclays Bank and other banks in the UK! The main reason I purchased this watch was for that feature !! Come on Fitbit - sort this out !!!

Yes, have just checked on this forum and found that none of the UK banks mentioned do I recognise!

Please add Lloyd’s, Tesco and all of the usual Visa / MasterCard providers.

This product is not marketed as a USA model only and yet that is the only country on the Fitbit Charge 3.

I am very frustrated, I got the versa and tried to add my bank card only to find out you only support a small number of minor UK banks. I am not happy Fitbit Pay needs to support the majority of banks otherwise many users will be unhappy like I am. I am with TSB so I would be extremely grateful if you would add compatibility with TSB as soon as possible please

Please add Nationwide and Lloyds as main UK Banks. Surely this should of been researched and developed fully by the PD team before it was released into the UK marketplace? It’s a bit naughty to list it as a main feature on The box when it can not be fully utilised by the majority of UK bank account holders?!

That is exactly my point as well, why release into uk market when it is not compatible with uk systems?
False marketing?

Same problem in Canada.  We've been asking for a while to no avail.  Get a pat answer that they keep adding and to check back and yet none have been added. Obviously it's an American company interested in selling for profit but not providing a service they advertise in countries other than the US.  They should practice integrity and only sell in US or change their packaging so it says exactly what it is able to do in the countries it sells in.  I'm a long time Fitbit person and this is most likely my last Fitbit.  They used to have integrity.  They are going to lose me as a customer. Apple or Androud watches both provide the service in Canada that Fitbit advertises yet doesn't supply.   Check in UK.

Unfortunately a bit late having just had a charge 3 bought for me this Christmas, perhaps Trading Standards will have more success?

It would be great if more uk banks could be supported. I have Halifax, Monzo and a Tesco credit card and I can’t use any of them.

Yes I have a Tesco card and was hoping to use this, very disappointed with this part of the Charge 3.

Please add Bank of Scotland. I think they are partnered with Halifax so hopefully both join together.

The sole reason I paid the extra for the special edition charge 3 was the fitbit pay compatibility - this was the main marketed benefit! On the mobile site, the banks supported did not separate by geography so it seemed that my bank(s) were supported. How disappointing! Please expand this to more UK banks includin Amex & MetroBank - both are available on Apple Pay and Android Pay.

Fitbit needs to significantly improve the current status of the contactless payment feature on the Charge 3.  Anybody purchasing the Charge 3 in the hope of using this option as a convenient payment method is likely to be extremely disappointed by Fitbit’s failure to recruit any of the large high street banks.  Santander is the only name of any note and I have no intention of charging my whole banking arrangements because of this shortcoming.  I request that Fitbit double their efforts to rectify this.  I also request that they ensure that those reading reading marketing material are given very clear information on the extremely limited functionality of this feature, as opposed to the current misleading promotion of a virtually unusable function.

Add Barclays please. Its a little bit misleading for fitbit not flag its limitation in not having major banks signed up. The pay facility was decisive in my choosing the Charge 3 limited edition over others and I've paid extra for this yet cannot use the service I was looking forward to. It is reasonable for a consumer to trust a brand like fitbit has rolled out a service to be usable by most people before they start selling the product.
